My daughter saw this idea on Facebook where you can make colored ice balls by putting food coloring in a balloon, filling it with wart, letting it freeze outside (we live in the north), then removing the balloon. Cute idea, but you need balloons that work. I saw these in Amazon and wanted to buy the cheapest 12" balloons I could find, and color didn't matter.Well cheap these were, $2 for 15 with free shipping. They came in a flat envelope that had a made-in-China bag in it, and 2 loose balloons outside it. The inner bag contained 12 balloons. Do the math: one is missing. The 12 in the bag were all melted together, and they broke apart when I tried to separate them. I tried to blow up the loose balloons outside the bag. One holds air. So there's net one decent balloon for $2. I should not have wasted my money. This is crap.I stopped by Target store and bought a package of balloons that will work, a package of 40 for $4.99, and they hold air. After a failed first attempt, the science project will begin tonight.
